This little-known strategy game won me over with its variation in play modes (having different "world" and "battle" events), its careful attention to passage of time, and its clever use (and re-use) of music.
It is probably best suited to those new or not so good at strategy games, because once you know how to work the system, you can basically steamroll the computer controlled enemies in the game. Fortunately, I'm terrible at strategy games, so it made this a rewarding challenge.
